The Tip of the Dagger

The Tip of the Dagger

A Poem by TTBoy

sweet, precious words

so inviting

so inticing

and sharp telling of our

last facing

And as our tongues fenced

The Epee you had delivered under God’s court

served as the greatest blow to my

champion ego

May you regret such a subpoena as long

as there remains bloodless red charm in your

Do I pray that the testament you receive in return

for your foil

is a constant Sabre unsustained by Your Honor

and a jury of your peers

So do I wish that there had not been deceit in at least

one of our hearts

And as your tears of disgrace fall down

even the crocodiles roll with glee

Scoring the event

I hit my marks every time

by allowing you to walk, run, and play on my dagger

Sorry I am not for tossing your mask aside

  1. Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? With thanks
