Creamy Crack – The Plight of the Up and Coming Black Woman

Creamy Crack – The Plight of the Up and Coming Black Woman

A Poem by TTBoy28

Like frothy, slick cream cheese

spread on a dome with a spatula-like knife

A miracle to take all pain away

All pre-conceived notions of

poverty and lack of social grace

Gone

But only if that miracle does not

over-stay its welcome

Too much of a good thing, is a

terrible thing

A fall-out could be a horrible thing

For a happy woman is a relaxed

woman with hair to match

Timing is everything

And creamy crack can be more than

just a woman’s meal

Enough to cause a heart attack

If her head ever sees a lack
