Aromatic Genie

My thermos opened

and poured out its contents

subconsciously I reared back

in my chair

and waited for the ghost to

And when it did

I knew it was time

to extinguish that chill inside me

that left me constant and lethargic

I needed my light to burn

passionately again

Brightly again

Yet again

So when the apparition’s

soul jumped

I rose to do its bidding

Yet I rose

and faithfully trusted the next genie

to be just as kind

Granting me three wishes

before sugar-coating and diluting

my chalice with clouds

Turning night into day

And keeping the Blues

To place a price on beauty’s beholder

would equate one to punching a

clock to acquire a seat in a cubicle

until the steam sounded

Quitting time

Anaphora Reaps

until beauty has spread itself too

  1. After reading your blog post I browsed your website a bit and noticed you aren’t ranking nearly as well in Google as you could be. I possess a handful of blogs myself and I think you should take a look here: You’ll find it’s a very nice tool that can bring you a lot more visitors. Keep up the quality posts

  2. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

  3. Good day! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one? Thanks a lot!

  4. Hey! Someone in my Myspace group shared this website with us so I came to look it over. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Fantastic blog and superb design.
