Everyday I have homework

Faces, smiles,
Cheerful, snide
if I fail to watch and
listen closely,
I may not grasp my lesson
For the day
begins and ends with a message
floating in the air
thrown with a glare
caressed with care
So I see the World as my school
and everyday, I have homework to do

The Principle may paddle me
but that pain will subside
My own Mother may forsake me
and make me want to run and hide
Should my darling sister not feed me
it is my choice to be forever blue
Still I see the World as my school
and everyday, I have homework to do

Trick or Treating used to be
Oh so such good times
Even daytime became a reality
lips shaped as if tasted limes
Alas, history has been made
after fingers pointed at the untrue
Inside the house a room of a different shade
that I can’t reach everyday because of the homework
I have to do

If I should ask one main thing
it would be to remember Who’s Who
From trees of poplar and sycamore down to the Ming
leaves fall everyday, leaving more homework for me to do

  1. Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Appreciate it

  2. I absolutely love your blog and find nearly all of your post’s to be precisely what I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content for you? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome weblog!

  3. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being ripped off? I’d really appreciate it.

  4. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
