I Came To Sin

I came to sin
But, I forgot to arrive
I walked, I crawled
Did ALL I could except BE
And, without hesitation,
You made me DO
How Could I be blamed
when Temptation caught my attention?
I came to sin
and knew I would have faithful followers
I speak without saying a word
I see them glaring,
gloating at my stature
wishing and praying
that their candle would flicker,
wither, and fizzle
Just so I could rebuild them
I am what is wanted in darkness
I am what the light needs
I came
so all could be
pleased
I will never truly BE
until Temptation goes away
until eyes are closed
and all portals cease pulsating
To BE, or not to BE
I came to sin
