“I Can’t Breathe”

Brought in out of Change

Because certain people wanted Strange

To let chaos run amuck

And you said You didn’t give a Fuck

Swore to drain the swamp

On a podium we all heard “Womp Womp”

You once called them “Stupid”

And paraded your name like Cupid

What thread count was your sheet

That didn’t cover the dead on the street?

You opposed one group that took a knee

Then laughed when done by the PD

Seems you have much more in store

Since a different virus kicks in the door

Even though the sunshine begs in line

Social Media makes the dark ones shine

Handcuffed, therefore to grieve

But you can’t hear, “I Can’t Breathe”

All you’ve done and said has been recorded

Is the Jury afraid they’ll be deported?

It’s hard to wear your heart on your sleeve

Don’t rush to judgment – just because “I Can’t Breathe”

Livestock tainted so the Market can rise

Some believe God loves the lies

So, the next time you do deceive

Don’t ask who said, “I Can’t Breathe”

Ashes

Ashes to ashes

I am still a Buddhist

Loving to Love

The love that knows love

The way Love should be loved

Dust to dust

I am still a Buddhist

Chanting to chant

Chanting for Love

Loving to chant

Like smoke I spread

Disappearing I am still all

And everywhere, I rise

And Fall

I am still a Buddhist

The colorless exhale

Once the wind blows

From ashes to dust

Burning yet yearning to exist

Still, I am Buddhist

 born, created from ashes

What type of Marijuana works best for You?

Medical Marijuana is so expensive. And, how dare You try and submit a claim to your insurance company for it?

Legal or Street Marijuana is frowned upon because, as the Nurse or Doctor says, “You just don’t know how much THC is in it.” But, people say it works better!

Unless you’re wealthy enough, stick with the Medical stuff. That’s just an easier way for the controlled establishments to increase their revenues. There’s a consultation fee, a charge for the I.D. card, and a charge for each amount you need. The I.D. card seems to be your saving grace.

Then, you can take your chances on the Street for the product that works best for You. Chances are, depending on your purchase, You may have to pay court fees. Get it? The choice is yours! Or is it?

Check, Me Out

Waiting for that day
when I can ride above
and know that I am better
than those who aren’t
Hearing that click
after the rustling of straight-edged
in-voices that thank me
for services rendered
for time served
with accuracy
and benefits I didn’t have
until then
But I can’t let him see me
waiting and praying and prancing
near stalking his mere existence
Knowing that I am waiting for that day
he best leave before he realizes
it won’t be today that I can exit smiling

The Decision

When I saw the tree
in the Robert Frost novel,
I knew i had crossed over
Glowing sun not damaging me
any further
No sounds that i
could not agree with
No being with demands
who hurled all that is unholy at me
My touch felt like a hug
No seat was necessary
for i knew i was just visiting
All was explained to me
And that was all
I needed to know
I didn’t belong there
Was my soul still not at rest?
I could not adjust to all that serenity
But i knew what was constant before
I knew my mission
Obtain Peace before i had Peace
It’s called the Tree of Life
It’s just not for me, yet
